About Us

The Southeast Portland Bike Library aims to increase access to low- and no-cost bikes to underserved families, improve health and well-being, and create safer streets and neighborhoods for all community members.

Our Mission

To promote safe, fun, active transportation for families in inner SE Portland, centered around the Abernethy Elementary School catchment area. We will primarily achieve this by providing access to bikes via a lending library.

Our Vision

"A community where every family has the opportunity to walk, bike, roll around their neighborhood safely and enjoyably."
